Prof. Ding got his B.Sc. from Southeast University and Ph.D. from Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL, Lausanne, Switzerland). After the postdoctoral Research at the University of Texas at Austin (USA), he became the assistant professor in the university of Western Ontario, Canada.
