Following Chicago 2000, Sydney 2003 and Seoul 2006, the World Congress on Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering will be held in Munich, on September 7-12, 2009. We expect over 4,000 leading physicians, scientists, physicists and engineers involved in research, industry and applications to attend this congress, the biggest and most important of its kind worldwide. We hope you will use this unique opportunity to present your research themes to an international audience of experts and decision-makers, and to discuss your work with them.

Federal Minister Annette Schavan (Federal Ministry of Education and Research), Hermann Requardt, CEO of Siemens Healthcare and member of the Managing Board of Siemens AG, and Roger Tsien, 2008 Nobel Laureate for Chemistry, have already accepted our invitation to speak at the opening ceremony.
The congress will be divided into 13 theme fields with over 100 tracks .Leading international scientists will give lectures covering the entire spectrum of medical physics, biomedical engineering, clinical medical engineering, bioengineering and medical information and communication technologies.
